Who runs this site
I'm Durva Mathure. I run this site on my own, from San Francisco, to show my work and book calls with founders. There's no company behind it and no team reading your data.
What I collect
When you book a call, I get your name, your email, the time you picked and whatever you wrote about where you're stuck. The site puts the call on my Google Calendar, and Google emails you the invite with a Google Meet link.
When you send me a book, I get the book, your name and your email. I use them to write back with a book of my own.
When you email me, I have your email and what you wrote.
What you drag onto the plate stays in your browser until you book. Then it goes into the booking note, which you can edit first.
Analytics and logs
The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, and I use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It tells me which pages get read, the referring site, the browser and the country. It sets no cookies and doesn't follow you to other sites.
This site sets no cookies and runs no ad trackers.
What I don't do
I don't sell your information, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. I won't add you to a mailing list because you booked a call or sent a book. Table For One lives on Substack, and you only get it if you subscribe there.
Other sites
Essays link to Substack. Other links go to Google, LinkedIn and X. Each of those has its own privacy policy, and what happens there is between you and them.
How long I keep it
Calendar events and emails stay in my Google account until I delete them. I keep them while we're talking or working together, and I'll delete yours if you ask.
Your choices
You can ask me what I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Depending on where you live, laws like the CCPA or GDPR may give you more rights than that, and I'll honor them.
This site is for founders. It isn't meant for children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If I change how the site handles your information, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
